About SpellBright
SpellBright is an AI-powered writing assistant helping people with dyslexia write with confidence. Our Danish product, SkrivSikkert, has grown to 60,000+ monthly users since 2023, won the Danish Dyslexia Award, and earned recommendations from the Danish Dyslexia Association and educational institutions across Denmark.
Now we're taking what we've built and expanding globally.
The Role
We're looking for our first Head of Marketing to help us scale internationally. You'll own our email marketing and shape the messaging for our English-language expansion, working directly with our founder to convert free users into paying customers.
This isn't a typical marketing role. You'll have the freedom to experiment, the autonomy to make decisions, and the opportunity to build our marketing function from the ground up.
What You'll Do
You'll be our first marketing hire — building our growth engine from scratch. That means wearing many hats: crafting email sequences that convert, writing website copy that resonates globally, experimenting with new channels, and coming up with creative ideas we haven't thought of yet.
This is a 360° organic growth role. No paid ads — just smart, creative marketing that builds real connections with our users. You'll have the freedom to try things, the data to learn what works, and a direct line to the founder to make decisions fast.
Who You Are
You're a generalist with ideas — someone who can write compelling copy, set up an email flow, analyze what's working, and pivot when it's not. You're comfortable figuring things out on your own, but know when to ask for help.
You write excellent English (native or near-native), you're curious about what makes people tick, and you get excited about building something from zero. Experience in SaaS, B2C, or mission-driven companies is a plus — but drive and creativity matter more than a perfect resume.
